Maryland Congressional Delegation Reacts to Colleague’s Shooting

The following are statements and tweets from Maryland’s senators and House members after the shooting Wednesday morning of House Majority Whip Steve Scalise (R-La.), a House staffer, and two Capitol police officers at a park in Alexandria, Va. The shootings took place as Republican members of Congress were practicing for Thursday night’s scheduled baseball game with congressional Democrats.
